The August 2023 Excel update introduces Python in Excel, available for public preview. This feature is gradually rolling out to Beta Channel users on Windows using Excel version 2309 (Build 16818.20000) or later. Also included in this release are Stale Value Formatting and Monospaced Font in the formula bar.
For Current Channel users on Windows, New features include Simplified Sharing Across M365, Improved Save As/Discard Dialog, and Power BI Connected Tables.

The Python in Excel feature allows you to natively integrate Python and Excel analytics in the same workbook, without any setup. Python coding can be done directly into a cell, with calculations run in the Microsoft Cloud and results returned to the worksheet, including visualizations.
The Stale Value Formatting feature addresses the issue of values becoming outdated when manual calculation mode suspends calculations. These outdated values are referred to as 'stale'.
