Welcome to one more video we will talk about how we can get started with the development of Custom connector from scratch. To Present this session with us, we have Nanddepp Nachan and Smita Nachan. They will explain entire process in detail.

What are Power Platform Customer Connector

A Power Platform Customer Connector is a tool that allows users to connect and integrate data and processes between the Microsoft Power Platform and external applications, services, and data sources.

The Power Platform includes Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate (formerly known as Flow), and Power Virtual Agents. Customer Connectors provide the ability to connect with external data sources that are not natively supported by the Power Platform.

Using Customer Connectors, users can create custom connectors to connect with a variety of external services, such as Salesforce, Dropbox, or SharePoint. This allows users to bring data from those services into the Power Platform, or to send data from the Power Platform to those services.

Customer Connectors can be created using standard web technologies such as REST APIs, OAuth authentication, and JSON payloads. Once created, the connectors can be shared with other users within an organization or with the broader Power Platform community.

Learn how to configure and use custom connectors with Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, and Microsoft Azure Logic Apps.
