Microsoft 365 Copilot 30-Day Free Trial

Key insights

• Microsoft 365 Copilot
Microsoft’s AI assistant that uses a tenant’s email, documents and calendar to give personalized work help. The trial gives access to the Premium Copilot experience so teams can test real workflows.
• 30-day trial
Free for eligible small and medium organizations (tenants up to 300 users) and does not require payment information to start. The trial runs for 30 days and requires a paid license to continue premium features afterward.
• Self-service trial
Users can start the trial directly from Copilot Chat, lowering adoption barriers compared with admin-only rollouts. This option is enabled by default for eligible tenants but can be turned off by admins.
• Admin control
Admins should review and, if needed, disable self-service trials in the Microsoft 365 admin settings to control who can activate the trial and to protect sensitive data and governance rules.
• Tenant preparation
Prepare your tenant, users and data before starting the trial to avoid spending the trial period on troubleshooting; check permissions, connected data sources, user training and governance policies first.
• Indexing and limitations
Indexing time varies by data size and complexity, so allow hours to days for good results; the trial targets business tenants and some rollout details may differ from public pricing pages, so confirm eligibility and feature access before you start.
