A quick overview of the difference between Power Query's Pivot and Unpivot Feature
Pivot and unpivot in Excel Power Query are two features that allow you to organize data in a way that makes it easier to understand. Pivoting is the process of taking a set of data and rotating it to view different subsets of the data. Unpivoting is the reverse process of pivoting and takes data that has been pivoted and converts it back to its original format.
Using Excel Power Query, you can quickly and easily pivot and unpivot data. To pivot data, you simply select the columns you want to pivot, and then select the options for the type of pivot you want to create. To unpivot data, you select the data you want to unpivot, then select the options for the type of unpivot you want to create.
