New cleanup mechanism will automatically remove inactive Dataverse for Teams environments

This cleanup will not affect any other Microsoft Teams assets (teams, channels, SharePoint sites, etc.)

Power Platform provides a cleanup mechanism that automatically removes inactive Dataverse for Teams environments from your tenant. Dataverse for Teams environments that are considered inactive are first disabled. They're deleted after a period of time if no action is taken by the administrators.

  • After being inactive for 90 days the environment will be disabled
  • After 30 days of being disabled the environment will be deleted, if no action is taken by administrators.
