Microsoft has made significant advancements in various areas such as design, performance, capabilities, templates, integration, mobile options and more, since the launch of Microsoft Lists in May 2020. The ability to create a list from anywhere is one of the key areas that Microsoft has invested in. This blog post focuses on educating users on how they can create a list in different parts of Microsoft 365. Below are some of the platforms within Microsoft 365 where you can create a list:
Microsoft 365 app launcher, also known as the hamburger due to its appearance that consists of the upper-left square of nine dots, is a great starting point. Here you can find all the Microsoft 365 apps including Microsoft Lists. If the Lists app doesn't appear right away, use the search bar within the app launcher’s user interface. Clicking the Lists app and then the "+ New list" button will bring up the 'Create a list' dialog.
To learn more, the blog introduces a demo video that walks viewers through each list creation entry point. Users have the opportunity to learn how to create a list in different environments within Microsoft 365, providing them with the flexibility and accessibility to track information from any location.
