Preview of Bing Chat Enterprise Experience for Microsoft 365 A3 and A5 Faculty Licenses

Bing Chat Enterprise experience is available for Microsoft 365 A3 and A5 licenses for faculty. Initially available for Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard, and Business Premium licenses, Bing Chat Enterprise is now extended to include A3 and A5 licenses. There will be a standalone offering for $5 per user, per month for those who don't hold these licenses.

Bing Chat Enterprise ensures user and organization data security. The data doesn't leak outside the organization and is neither saved nor used for training purposes. Microsoft does not have access to view customer data.

The chat application will be on by default no earlier than September 21st. To activate Bing Chat Enterprise today, certain configurations need to be completed by an IT administrator.

• Microsoft Search in Bing control must be enabled in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
• Navigate to the specific URL to activate Bing Chat Enterprise.
• Once enabled, faculty signed in with their Microsoft Entra ID can access Bing Chat Enterprise in the Microsoft Edge sidebar and on the Bing Chat website.
