Power Platform: Building AI with Rashid

Key insights

• Howdang Rashid and Powercademy: A Microsoft MVP and trainer presenting hands-on ways to add AI to Power Platform.
He focuses on moving makers from basic low-code apps to agent-driven, production-ready solutions.
• M-AI Accelerator and 14-day roadmap: A 6-week cohort teaches building secure, production-grade systems across Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, and GitHub Copilot.
The free 14-day guide offers daily, hour-long steps to learn agents, licensing, security, and Copilot basics.
• Core tools: Makers use Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and AI Builder to add conversational agents, automation, and embedded AI.
These building blocks let teams create apps, workflows, and data models inside Microsoft’s stack.
• Agent workflows and code assistants: Demonstrations show Claude Code and GitHub Copilot generating model-driven apps, canvas apps, and Power Automate flows from natural language.
Parallel agent sessions speed proof-of-concept work and orchestration tasks.
• Benefits: AI-assisted tooling drives faster delivery, clearer paths from low-code to advanced AI, and easier prototyping inside Microsoft tools.
The programs emphasize practical deployment, not just experimentation.
• Operations and risks: Recent guidance covers licensing, environment management, and security for Copilot Studio and agent deployments.
Makers should plan governance and production controls before wide release.
