Is SharePoint going away in 2024?

With a focus on advancing SharePoint Framework, Microsoft has decided to phase out SharePoint Add-Ins. Effective from July 1st, 2024, it will no longer be possible to install SharePoint Add-Ins from the SharePoint public marketplace, although installations from a private tenant catalog will remain feasible.

By the year 2026, earlier versions of SharePoint such as the 2013, 2016, and 2019 editions will reach their end-of-life status.
