Are you tired of manually processing application forms and verifying the identity of your applicants? In this video, I’ll show you how to streamline this process using Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, SharePoint, and AI Builder.
First, I’ll demonstrate how to set up the initial flow. The flow will be triggered when an applicant completes a Microsoft form. It will create a sharing link on SharePoint via Rest API and email the applicant with a request to upload their ID evidence.
Next, I’ll showcase the second flow that will be triggered once the applicant uploads their ID evidence. This flow will use AI Builder to extract entities and validate the evidence provided against the data provided in the Microsoft Form, including their name, date of birth and ID document expiry date.
To give you a comprehensive understanding of the process, I’ll take you through step-by-step demonstrations using two applicants, one that passes, another fails, using a driving license and passport.
Finally, I’ll take a deep dive into the SharePoint File Request feature and show you how to automate it using Rest API, so you can easily integrate it into your own workflow.
If you’re looking for a more efficient way to process applications and validate identities, this video is a must-watch. So, join me on this journey and let’s explore the power of Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, SharePoint, and AI Builder together!

AI Builder is a cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) service provided by Microsoft. It allows users to add pre-built AI capabilities, such as predictive models and natural language processing, to their own applications, websites, or workflows without requiring any prior knowledge of AI or data science.
AI Builder offers a drag-and-drop interface to build AI models, which makes it accessible to people with little to no programming experience. The service supports various use cases, such as form processing, object detection, sentiment analysis, and language translation. Users can also train their custom models using their own data or pre-built datasets available in AI Builder.
AI Builder can integrate with other Microsoft services, such as Power Apps and Power Automate, to create intelligent workflows and automate business processes. It also supports integration with third-party services through APIs.
Overall, AI Builder provides a low-code solution for businesses to incorporate AI capabilities into their existing systems and processes, without requiring a dedicated data science team.
