Microsoft Teams has announced the general availability of video filters for users to better express themselves and remove unwanted distractions during meetings. The AI-powered video filters range from animated frames to styles that can change the hue of the video. The filters are built on the Teams Platform infrastructure and provided as apps that can be added to the meeting experience.

The first-party app called Custom Filters is being launched initially, and users can apply the filters even before joining a meeting from the lobby. These features empower users to feel their best during meetings and bring their personality to each interaction.

This feature is built keeping privacy and compliance in mind. We have ensured that –
