What is responsive design?

Responsive design is a design approach that aims to create web sites and applications that provide an optimal viewing experience for users, regardless of the device or screen size they are using.

In a responsive design, the layout of a page adjusts automatically to fit the size and orientation of the device being used to view it. This is accomplished through the use of flexible grids, layouts, and images, as well as the use of media queries in the CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) code of the page.

The goal of responsive design is to ensure that users have a consistent and enjoyable experience when accessing a web site or application on any device, including desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. It is an important consideration in modern web design, as the increasing use of mobile devices has made it necessary to ensure that web sites are accessible and easy to use on a wide range of devices.
