Microsoft 365 Groups is a powerful collaboration platform for teams to access, share and collaborate on documents, conversations and more. It enables users to create groups of people with the same interests or goals, either inside or outside their organization. With Microsoft 365 Groups, members can easily communicate via email and chat, as well as store shared files in OneDrive.

Recently, Microsoft has released several new features that make it easier than ever to work together collaboratively within Microsoft 365 Groups. These include:

  • Shared Calendar – Easily view all group events in one place
  • Private channels – Create private channels within a team where only certain members have access
  • Team site library – Share files across your team quickly using the integrated library feature
  • Connectors – Automatically get updates from other services like Twitter or Salesforce directly in the group feed
  • Customized membership roles - Allow different levels of permissions for different members so everyone can contribute according to their role
