Microsoft Viva Connections brings your Intranet directly into Microsoft Teams. A new desktop experience is being released for Viva Connections that’s easier and faster to set up and optimizes content to deliver a modern employee experience.
The new Viva Connections desktop design serves as a new home experience option that centers essential job tasks, personalized content, easy access to other Viva experiences, and better aligns with the mobile experience.
Customers with existing home sites can choose to keep their existing desktop experience using a PowerShell command that is already available.

Microsoft Viva Connections Desktop
Microsoft Viva Connections is a desktop application that helps teams stay connected and productive. It provides an integrated experience for collaboration, communication, learning, wellbeing, and insights. Teams can easily access their documents from Microsoft 365 in one place and use the app to send messages or make calls with colleagues.
The app also includes features like team news feed that keeps everyone informed about what’s happening across the organization; discover section to find content related to work topics; and personalized suggestions based on user interests. Additionally, users can create tasks lists using To-Do feature and use MyAnalytics dashboard to track productivity trends over time.
