Power BI recently announced a new feature called Power Query Formula Language (PQFL). This language is designed to replace the need for using DAX in many situations.
PQFL offers more flexibility and control when it comes to data manipulation, allowing users to create complex formulas without having to learn DAX. Additionally, PQFL allows users to access external data sources such as web services and OData feeds with just a few clicks of the mouse.
