Have you heard of a Delta Lake? What is up with that? In this fourth video in our new series on Delta Lake, Austin discusses using data flows to manage the Delta Tables. Data Flows in Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory are the low-code tool to make transformations to data as a part of the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process. Data flows enable more users to make transforms without having to know code languages.
Delta tables with data flows is a feature from Microsoft which allows users to create a data flow that takes data from one or more sources and then updates a table in a database. The data flow can be configured to process the data before it is added to the table. This feature allows users to easily update their database tables with data from a variety of sources, including other databases, files, and web services. The data flow can also be configured to transform and cleanse the data before it is added to the table. Delta tables with data flows is a great way to quickly update a database table with data from multiple sources.
