The post discusses sending an Email Confirmation once a subscription form is submitted. Upon submitting, the lead or contact who will receive a confirmation email indicating their opted topics and preferences. The post then explains how to create a new trigger, email, journey, and flow in Power Automate to accomplish this.

  • Create a Realtime Marketing form for your compliance profile and related topics. Remember that this form is NOT for people who are already getting your emails and wish to unsubscribe. Ensure to publish the form and have a place to add it on your website.
  • Create the components for the trigger, email, and journey in Realtime Marketing. Go to the Engagement section and click on Triggers. Give the trigger a name and make sure to select the second option for firing the trigger using Power Automate, ignoring the code integration part which requires a developer.

Next, we only need two attributes for this trigger. The Customer data should match the audience type added to the Realtime Marketing form. After that, add a text attribute and call it HTML Table. Finally, make sure to publish the trigger so it is ready for use.
