Import Claude Design HTML to SharePoint as a site page, publish and use Copilot prompts on Microsoft three sixty five

Key insights

  • Claude Design export: I built a page in Claude Design, saved it as one self-contained HTML file, and uploaded it to the SharePoint Site Pages library so it runs as a native editable page.
Interactive parts like a prompt gallery still work and you can copy prompts into Copilot.
  • What the demo shows: the video walks through using New, HTML page to upload the file, publishing the page, testing the prompt gallery, editing a button link in edit mode, and setting the page as the site homepage.
Each step behaves like a normal modern SharePoint page once the file is added.
  • Permissions and license notes: a site owner must allow HTML files in the Site Pages library file type settings before upload.
Opening the New → HTML page screen needs a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, but direct upload and later editing, publishing, or viewing the page do not.
  • Theming and branding: uploaded HTML pages do not inherit the site theme automatically, so build your branding into the file or ask Copilot to update the page to match the site.
This ensures fonts, colors, and layout remain consistent.
  • How this fits Microsoft’s direction: the approach reflects growing use of agentic building and AI-assisted tools that turn plain-language intent into site plans and pages.
Claude Design and the Microsoft 365 connector help prototype designs and pull real content from services like SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Best practices and core elements: prefer modern SharePoint web parts over custom code for most sites; key page parts include Hero, Quick Links, News, and Navigation.
Benefits of this workflow include faster site creation, easier prototyping, better reuse of existing content, and a low-code experience.
