The MarkDown Viewer was further improved to be used flexibly in a gallery, with two output properties, ContentWidth and ContentHeight, that allow the control to resize as needed.</p><p>To incorporate the MarkDown Viewer into the canvas app, the author first had to enable the Power Apps component framework in the Power Platform Admin Center. He then downloaded the latest release of the MarkDown Viewer from his GitHub repository, imported it into his Dataverse environment, and added it to his canvas app. This addition greatly improved the app's ability to display MarkDown content correctly.</p><p>In summary, the author was able to enhance his Intelligent Assistant canvas app by adding a PCF control, which resolved the issue of rendering MarkDown language responses from OpenAI. The improved app can now correctly display code snippets and MarkDown content, with added features such as code highlighting and one-click copy option.</p><p><br></p><h3>What is PCF stands for Power Apps Component Framework&#160;</h3><p>PCF stands for Power Apps Component Framework. It is part of the larger Microsoft Power Platform which also includes Power BI for data analytics, Power Automate for workflow automation, and Power Virtual Agents for building chatbots.</p><p>PCF, being part of Power Apps, empowers developers to build reusable, highly performant components using standard web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. These custom components can then be utilized in both canvas and model-driven apps in Power Apps.
