Windows 11 Microsoft Paint now with dark mode. Microsoft has finally started testing a new dark mode for its Paint app in Windows 11. The software giant originally teased a dark mode addition nearly two years ago and it’s now being tested in both Canary and Dev Channels for Windows Insiders.
Like most other apps in Windows 11 that support dark modes, Paint will automatically switch over based on your system theme or you can manually enable the dark mode in the new settings page inside Paint.
Apart from the much-awaited dark mode, Windows 11 Paint is also receiving zoom improvements for a smoother user experience. These improvements are designed to provide more flexibility and control over the view of your content on the canvas. Dave Grochocki, the principal program lead for built-in apps at Microsoft, has shared an update on this development in the Windows Insider blog.
