Effective Utilization of Multi-Question Polls for Feedback Gatherings

The Polls application has been a go-to for many users when it comes to getting insights from their audience and underscores the need to collect strategy-relevant data. The process which encompasses the creation of several polls ahead of the meeting, and their subsequent launch at different intervals during the meeting, has been found to be incredibly functional and result-driven.More Information

Users often need to combine multiple polls and execute them simultaneously for the purpose of gathering diverse types of feedback. By using multi-question polls, users can compile various types of polls, be it on the same topic or different interconnected topics.

An important aspect of this feature is the possibility of creating these multi-question polls prior to the meeting. Users can now add a question button that is conveniently located at the end of the pop-up window, and additional polls can be appended and bundled together. Each poll question can be deleted through the trash can icon at the top right-hand corner. An impressive maximum of 9 questions can be added and executed concurrently.

Launching and Responding to Polls: Key Scenarios

In a meeting situation, launching and responding to a multi-question poll can be done with ease by following preset steps. Users can locate multi-question polls in the side-pane on the right-hand side of the window, after clicking on the Polls app icon in the top navigation bar.

On launching, meeting attendees will see a pop-up where they can provide their feedback. With a well-designed pagination system at the bottom right corner of the pop-up, attendees can navigate through the poll questions and then submit their responses.

After responses have been submitted, the results of the poll can be viewed if the poll creator allows for result sharing. This form of pagination enables poll respondents to check the results for respective poll questions without any hassle.

Responsive Multi-Question Polls in Different Contexts

Multi-question polls have been designed to be accessible for meeting users in different scenarios and endpoints. Users can access and respond to polls in the meeting chat during or after meetings. In addition, users can respond to multi-question polls on their mobile device as well.

Presently, the multi-question poll feature is in the rollout stage and users should be having access to it in their Teams’ meetings soon.
For any issues encountered, users can reach out to the dedicated support email.

In conclusion, multi-question polling presents a more comprehensive method of gathering feedback during meetings. By allowing multiple polls to be combined and launched simultaneously, it gives users the ability to gain varied insights on different but related topics from their audience in a single meeting.
