In this video, Angelica will explain what row-level security is and how you can easily implement it on your datasets to control users' access to the data. Row-level security (RLS) is a two-part process that begins in the Power BI Desktop and is completed in the Power BI Service. Row-level security allows you to restrict users' access to certain rows of data by creating a role that will filter down the data in the specified table you wish to apply security to.

More about Power BI Basic Row-Level Security (RLS)

Power BI Basic Row-Level Security (RLS) is a feature that enables administrators and power users to control access to data in Power BI reports. It allows you to specify which rows of data a user can see based on their identity or membership in an Active Directory group. For example, you could set up RLS so that only members of the Sales team can view sales data while other users will not be able to see it. This helps ensure that sensitive information remains secure and confidential. Additionally, RLS makes it easier for administrators to manage the security settings across multiple Power BI reports as they are managed centrally rather than within each individual report.
