Snip & Sketch, a screenshot tool introduced with Windows 10, has been replaced by the more straightforward Snipping Tool in Windows 11. Additionally, there are several methods for taking screenshots. We'll begin with the easiest first.

A native screen recording feature in the latest update to the Snipping Tool for Windows 11. The new feature allows users to capture the entire screen or a selected region and save the video locally, making it much easier and more convenient for users to record their screens.

Microsoft is now working on a new keyboard shortcut (Win + Shift + R) to launch the screen recorder, which will enable users to start and stop recording at the touch of a button. This feature is expected to be released in the coming weeks, and it is likely to be well received by Windows 11 users. Microsoft is also working on other new features, including an “End task” button on the taskbar and improvements to Task Manager.

Snipping Tool that launches with the Print screen button lacks some important features such as record, time delay, and setup options. To access the full version, one can search for it using the Search icon in the taskbar or find it under All apps in the Start menu. The article also suggests pinning the full Snipping Tool to the taskbar if it will be frequently used.
