With the new SharePoint actions (preview) in PowerAutomate Desktop, SharePoint automation scenarios can developed directly from Power Automate for desktop by mixing desktop actions with cloud ones, without the need of a separate cloud flow by Michel Mendes

Cloud connectors from within Power Automate Desktop

When it comes to connecting to other services, Power Automate provides a comprehensive user experience. Cloud flows can communicate with the most well-known services that are available via API thanks to a toolset of over 780 connectors.

Using cloud connectors in RPA scenarios was a more complex and time-consuming process as, in many cases, it required loops between cloud and desktop flows.

Today, we are very excited to announce that we will be making available all cloud connectors for SharePoint from within Power Automate desktop’s designer.
