The Format Painter is a powerful tool in Excel that allows you to quickly copy the formatting of one cell or range of cells to another. It's especially useful when you want to apply the same formatting across multiple worksheets or workbooks. To use it, select the cell or range with the desired formatting, then click on the Format Painter icon (it looks like a paintbrush). Then select the destination cells where you'd like to apply that formatting and voila! The copied format will be applied instantly. This time-saving trick can save hours of tedious manual work when working with large datasets.
