Microsoft has launched a new feature called Reading Coach in Immersive Reader, which provides students with personalized and independent practice for improving their pronunciation. The feature has been well-received by both educators and students.
The Reading Coach is now available as part of the Immersive Reader in many Microsoft 365 apps and can be accessed in school, consumer, and work accounts in 116 languages. The Reading Coach feature can be enabled from the Reading Preferences pane, allowing students to practice reading out loud and receive focused practice exercises. The microphone button in the Immersive Reader changes to a Play button and students can customize the voice, feedback style, and more.
