Power Platform Command Line Interface (Power Platform CLI) is a command-line tool that allows developers to perform various tasks related to the Power Platform, which includes Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents. It allows developers to manage and deploy solutions, manage environments and manage other assets. With Power Platform CLI, developers can automate repetitive tasks, such as solution deployment, and perform them in a consistent and repeatable manner, by using scripts and commands. It also allows developers to customize their development process, by integrating Power Platform CLI into their existing development workflow.

The Power Platform CLI tool is based on the open-source project Microsoft.PowerApps.CLI which is hosted on GitHub. It's available as cross-platform and supported on Windows, Mac and Linux environments. It's built on top of the Microsoft Power Apps command, which provides a more extensive command set and allows you to interact with other Power Platform services such as Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agent.
