Power Apps has announced a new feature that allows users to request a license directly from the product if they are trying to run an app that requires a license. Users will now see the option to “Request a license” in addition to the “Buy a license” or “Start a trial” option if they are eligible.
After submitting a request, users will receive a confirmation message at the top of the page stating that the request was sent to their admin. Users can also request a license during an active trial using the banner at the top of the page that displays the number of days remaining in the trial. Once an admin has acted on the request, a confirmation email will be sent to notify the user of the status of their request. More information is available on the Power Apps website.

A Power Apps premium license is a type of license for Microsoft’s Power Apps platform that provides access to additional features and capabilities beyond what is available in the standard license. These features include enhanced data integration and manipulation capabilities, more advanced automation and workflow capabilities, and access to premium connectors and APIs.
With a premium license, users can create more complex apps and workflows, integrate with a wider range of data sources, and take advantage of advanced security and compliance features. Premium licenses also allow for greater flexibility in terms of deployment and management of Power Apps environments.
It’s worth noting that premium licenses are typically more expensive than standard licenses, and are designed for organizations with more complex app development and integration needs.
