Microsoft Authenticator: Light variant makes its way into mobile Outlook

Microsoft is set to integrate a "light version" of Authenticator into its Outlook mobile app for Android and iOS this month. This integration will allow users with Microsoft 365 business accounts to confirm multi-factor authentications within the Outlook app, eliminating the need for a separate Authenticator app in some cases. However, the Authenticator app will remain a standalone option.
