More about BPF (Business Process Flows)

MDA (Model Driven Apps) is a feature in Dynamics 365 that allows you to customize the look and feel of your organization’s applications. One way to customize an app is by setting or disabling view selectors for Lookups in BPF (Business Process Flows). A view selector is a dropdown menu that provides users with options for filtering data when viewing records. By default, all views are enabled when creating a new BPF, but this can be changed using MDA.

To disable/set view selector for Lookup in BPF:

  1. Go to Settings > Customizations > Customize the System
  2. Select “Entities” from the left navigation pane and click on the entity whose BPF you want to modify
  3. Click on “Processes” tab then double-click on the process name which you want to edit
  4. Select "Steps" tab then select step record where lookup field exists
  5. In Advanced Tab check/uncheck ‘View Selector Enabled’ option according your requirement
  6. 6 .Select View filter if it's required
  7. 7 .Click Save button
