At Microsoft Build 2023, Microsoft announced several new innovations for Microsoft Syntex, a set of AI-powered cloud content management services, to help organizations manage their exponentially increasing volume of content. These new features include plugins for Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Syntex repository services, as well as previews of Syntex eSignature and "Project Archimedes".

The Syntex plugins for Microsoft 365 Copilot incorporate AI-powered document processing into everyday workflows, enabling tasks such as document classification, content assembly, and eSignature. The plugins also allow the Microsoft 365 Copilot experience to be extended to the SharePoint platform, including OneDrive and Teams. A preview for selected customers will start in June 2023.

These services offer functionalities such as versioning, coauthoring, sharing, search, security, compliance, and more. They are currently in private preview.

"Project Archimedes" provides big data analytics for OneDrive and SharePoint content, giving organizations insights into their content security and capacity. It's currently in private preview and will enter public preview in July 2023.

Syntex eSignature allows users to send electronic signature requests while keeping content within Microsoft 365. Private preview will begin in July 2023 with general availability expected later in the year.
