Microsoft Teams is introducing meeting apps to channel meetings, which will allow for more interactive, engaging, and productive meetings. With meeting apps in channel meetings, users can create meetings within the relevant Team and channel context, and the meeting will be advertised in the channel through a post and automatically added to the channel calendar.
This will streamline the scheduling process for all participants and empower teams to collaborate more effectively. The rollout of Teams meeting apps in channel meetings will begin on March 6th, providing parity for more meeting types and reaching a larger group of customers who use meeting channels for their daily interactions.
