Goodbye Azure AD, Hello Entra ID In this session I’ll take a look at Microsoft’s new shiny Entra ID and say goodbye to Azure Active Directory. In an attempt to simplify and unify its identity offerings Microsoft have not only renamed its premier directory service but also enhanced it with a host of new features. In this session I’ll take a brief look at just some of them.
- Global Secure Access which provides your organisation with configurable and securable internet access
- Private access, which take advantage of Microsoft’s vast datacenter and network infrastructure which is aimed at saving your company thousands of dollars on the cost of dedicated lines.
- Tools like Conditional Access are being extended to allow you to configure and manage how traffic flows over these line.
- It also includes powerful monitoring features.
