They usually consist of a single needle that points to the current performance level based on the data provided by users. While they may look attractive and be easy to create, it is important to remember that these charts lack any context or meaning beyond simply showing where the needle currently stands - making them difficult for viewers to quickly interpret and understand. Furthermore, depending on how much information you try to display in one chart, the complexity of your visualization can quickly become overwhelming. As such, it is generally recommended that you avoid using Excel Speedometer Charts and instead opt for more meaningful visualizations like bar graphs or line charts which provide more context and clarity in their design.
