Today with the famous Ahmad Najjar aka #TheFlowJedi.
In 2017, I was one of the first five MVPs to get their MVP title for their contribution to Power Automate (Microsoft Flow). Almost each one picked a calling based on the nice stuff we were building with Power Automate. I picked #TheFlowJedi as I'm a big fan of Star Wars.
A solution architect is responsible for finding the best technical solution for a business problem, which can be challenging and rewarding. This significantly impacts an organization's operations and success, providing me with a sense of purpose and fulfillment at the end of every project. Additionally, a solution architect must have a solid technical background. Therefore, I enjoy staying up-to-date with new technologies and developments in my field.
Well, Power Automate was not my first rodeo working with Business Process Automation, as I had worked with automation tools before jumping into Power Automate. But I enjoy building, designing, and improving BPA as it improves work efficiency, streamlines organizational workflows, enhances user experience, and opens innovation opportunities.
I'll be presenting a session on architecting Power Platform projects. As I mentioned, a solution architect must have a solid technical background. Because of the massive expansion of the Power Platform over the past few years, architecting such projects is becoming demanding and daunting. My session will help you better understand how to choose the best Power Platform service(s) for your solution, decide which data source to best fits the demands, and how to design and implement integration needs.
This story might not be so interesting now as Covid is no longer a thing. But it was when it happened back then. In 2021, I was a speaker at the collab summit in Dusseldorf and was afraid of getting Covid during the conference and bringing it back home. I returned home to find my wife and kids sick with Covid! Interestingly, I didn't even get infected at that point. I got Covid (for the first time) three months later after this incident :)
