As an admin, you have the option to enable the new Teams experience for your organization by using the Teams admin setting “UseNewTeamsClient” under “Teams update management policy.” This setting allows you to select which users in your organization can see the toggle and get access to the new Teams app.<br></p><ol><li>Sign in to the &#160;[Microsoft Teams admin center] (<strong>https&#58;//admin.teams.microsoft.com/</strong>) .</li><li>Select Teams&gt;Teams Update policies from the left pane, as shown below.</li><li>Select Add to create a new policy or select an existing policy to open Update policy.</li><li>Name the update policy, add a description, and select the setting for “Use new Teams client”, as shown below. The setting <strong>UseNewTeamsClient</strong> can be configured to one of the following possible values</li><li>Once the policy is defined, you can assign it to a specific user or user groups by selecting the <strong>Policy name&gt;Assign users&gt;Manage users</strong>. You can then choose which users in your organization will have access to the new app. Alternatively, you can use Teams Powershell to manage the new Teams experience setting. To do this, you will need to install the Teams PowerShell module and connect to your&#160;</p><p>Teams environment using your admin credentials. From there, you can use the <strong>Set-CsTeamsUpdateManagementPolicy </strong>cmdlet to configure the “<strong>UseNewTeamsClient</strong>” setting for your organization.<br></p><p>It’s important to note that before enabling the new Teams experience for your users, it’s recommended to test it thoroughly to ensure that any potential issues or bugs are addressed before they become widespread.
