It’s been a long time coming and today, we’re excited to launch the experimental preview of the CoE Starter Kit using data provided by self-serve analytics as a foundation for inventory and telemetry. You can export Power Platform inventory and usage data directly into Azure Data Lake Storage using the Data Export feature in the Power Platform Admin Center. Because the data is provided by the admin center, this mechanism is very efficient.
Once you’ve set up the Data Export feature, you can configure the CoE Starter Kit to use the data provided by this feature to power the kit’s dashboards, apps, and flows.

The Microsoft Power Platform CoE (Center of Excellence) Starter Kit is a set of tools and resources designed to help organizations implement and manage their Power Platform environments effectively. The Power Platform includes products such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate (formerly known as Flow), and Power Virtual Agents.
The CoE Starter Kit provides a framework for creating a Center of Excellence for Power Platform within an organization, enabling companies to build, manage, and scale their Power Platform solutions more efficiently. The kit includes templates, best practices, governance, and training materials to help organizations establish and operate their CoE.
The goal of the CoE Starter Kit is to help organizations achieve successful adoption of the Power Platform by providing a centralized approach to managing the platform, fostering collaboration, and promoting the reuse of solutions. By implementing the CoE Starter Kit, organizations can improve their Power Platform governance, reduce duplication of effort, and maximize the value of their investment in the platform.
