The main benefits of components are

• reusability within one app
• reusability for other apps

Instead of changing, e.g., the navigation on several screens in an app, with a component the change can be performed at one central place. Also, if you want to reuse the navigation built in this blog series, you can export it as component and use it in as many apps as you want.
