From new preview features like cold storage to expanding Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure has grown a lot in the past year—and there’s still so much more to come!

Microsoft Build 2023, set for May 23-25, is an exciting event to explore Azure's latest offerings including cold storage and Azure Virtual Desktop expansion. The event is designed for both in-person attendees and those participating online. Digital offerings include keynotes, Learn Lives, and discussions, allowing Azure enthusiasts to connect with experts from the comfort of their homes.

In-person attendees can take advantage of Microsoft Learn experiences. This includes a dedicated lounge where experts can help with training, documentation, and certification. Future enhancements to the Microsoft Learn platform will be announced on their blog.

  • Day 1 of the event will feature Satya Nadella, Kevin Scott, and OpenAI’s Greg Brockman discussing AI and Azure's collaboration with OpenAI. Scott Guthrie will demonstrate the practical application of next gen AI through GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI Service, and Microsoft Cloud platform.
  • On Day 2, Rajesh Jha and Panos Panay will present on how developers can harness the power of Microsoft 365 apps, Windows, and the Microsoft Graph to develop AI-powered applications. The event will conclude on Day 3 with Mark Russinovich and Scott Hanselman exploring GitHub Copilot X and LLMs.

In addition to in-person events, there will be a plethora of digital sessions for those unable to physically attend, including hybrid events, ensuring everyone can enjoy the full Build experience.
